Howzit Taropatch members who are on Oahu. I'm organizing a potluck kanikapila in honor of Jack Aldrich & Kory Tideman (alias slpry1 & thumbstruck) this coming Saturday January 11th starting at 12 noon & running until sundown. It's going to be held at Kamehameha Park (link below) right across the street from the Bishop Museum. It's going to be an unplugged affair with plenty of local musicians, many of which are members here. So if you'd like the opportunity to meet & kanikapila with Jack & Kory....E Komo mai  Bring your family & friends if you want but please bring something to add to the potluck to ensure plenty enough to eat & drink for everyone. Make sure to bring a folding chair too.

Have fun you guys - we're jealous! Due to my job change a few months back, I haven't been able to play music with these guys for some time. Not only that, but we're unlikely to get back to O`ahu in 2014 (but for good reasons - other trips coming up instead). |
