I escaped from Minneapolis in '65, never to go back. The folks were in LA. I was an old time banjo nut in those days, so i am no help about Hawaiian music there.

Slipry1 know of the Twin Cities. Check in your area for "Hula Schools" or "Halau". Check for Hawaiian restaurants. Also cultural organizations and clubs.
