If you were the artist would you let a record company do this to a song that you performed correctly ?

The editing that was done is "Sample Accurate," so one can presume it wasn't done on the ORIGINAL 1/4" masters.
I'd like to hear some recordings taken from the vinyl versions of these tracks.
