I grew up in the 50s and 60s with Lucky Luck on tv and I remember some wonderful stuff in the local dialect-pidgin. Stuff like "You oldah dan me". People like Lucky and Hilo Hattie used to sing a lot of pidgin stuff.
I have all the Frank Delima stuff and some old pidgin english comedy albums like "No Talk Stink". Im trying to get more. Does anyone have access to these these recordings? |

Don't know about the YouTube, but I believe the story of "Mano" the shark and the 3 Little Pigs was from Kent Bowman's Pidgin English Children's Stories album. Sadly, Kent Bowman passed away a few years ago. He was an engaging story teller and very funny. |
