Available only at mele.com and at Mulligan's Irish Pub, a full 70 minutes of Willie K in concert doing Hawaiian favorites, the Irish standard Danny Boy, and his famous take on Nessun Dorma. Ha! Funny to me, too -- but then again, how could I possibly shop for island music stuffs anywhere else?? 
P.S. The company which produced Willie's DVD sez it will only be available from two retailers: Mulligans on the Blue (where Willie performs, and where the film was made), and mele.com |

Got my copy from mele.com yesterday, and immediately popped it into the DVD player. This is pure Willie...singing, joking, telling wonderful stories about his dad (Manu). If you've never seen Willie K in person, this will give you a hint of what you can expect when he's performing. And if you've had the pleasure of seeing him on stage -- whether once, or often -- this DVD will remind you of those good times. Be sure to watch the interview portion too -- very interesting topics! |
