I borrowed this from the local Library and was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful quality of these tracks.

One that realy blew me away is 'Alika'. On the album it is listed as by Genoa Keawe. What a voice, i've never heard anyone hold a note like this ,outside of opera, she does multipule times on this song, truely gifted and amazing.

Many of the tracks are live recording, complete with crowd responce, which made it even more pleasing.

It also comes with an 'advanced feature' several pages of text on general info about Hawaii and the music. The copyright is 1998 though so some info is out of date.

A lot of variety of styles, also the inner sleave give a short paragraph about each of the performers.
