Music Guy Mic, (aka MGM or Michael Aratani) passed away yesterday. He was an extraordinary ukulele dealer on Oʻahu and had a big uke business on Ebay until health issues forced him to close up shop. Tommy and I used to have long talks with him when he would bring ukuleles to the New York Uke Fest. A super friendly and nice guy. He will be very much missed.

Andrew Kitakis of Hawaiian Music Supply in Haleiwa wrote this about Mike:

Such a sad loss of a really nice man. Aloha, Mic, rest in peace and God bless.
