Aloha everyone!
For those who don't know, I have gotten a new 'ukulele! A Kala! Love it! I even gave it, her, a name. Just like my Mahalo that I traded in since I had no room for two ukes. For those of you who are Mahalo haters you may now applaud me :D
I do think Mahalos are a good starter uke and though I had some good times with it I was kind of glad to let it go. I have given my new ukulele the name Kailana, as Lana means flowing like a river, and Kai means sea. It gives me that feeling kind of like I'm floating on a boat across the sea. The sound is so much more inviting to listen to. I just love the sound of both her tone and intonation and so glad I traded my old Mahalo. Sad, but glad too. Although my little cousin probably wants one now since I'd played for him a week ago... Should have kept it LOL!
