OK. I took a walk on the wild side and bought an inexpensive baritone ukulele (Caramel Mahogany). Any way, I don't like how the lower bought eats into my arm, so I'm looking for an easy way to cushion. I have armrests on all my guitars, but those "available" for ukuleles are either very expensive or don't come close to fitting. Not concerned about esthetics. Don't actually need an armrest per se if I can find some way to cushion the edge. Any advice?

Earl,
I've had a couple of the John Pearse units.
My wife had a flexible thick (ish) silicon patch with a sticky side that she uses for her face at night. Not sure what it's supposed to do, but it's about 7 inches long and can be removed and reused indefinitely. Pretty easy fix if you don't care what it looks like. There is at least one commercial baritone uke armrest available but it's $70, so no deal. Thanks

If you don't care about aesthetics the easy way is some stick-on rubber gasketing or door seal from a big box DIY store. A layer on the top and a second strip around the side should provide a decent cushion.

If you are handy at woodworking, it would not be difficult to replicate the John Pearse armrest design yourself. They even have templates online that you could scale down. I don't know of any pre-made arm rests for the uke world.

I have a couple of guitars with arm beevels that are quite comfortable. But I have noticed that my flatpicking accuracy suffers without the hard edge as an anchor.
