I received E-Mails from my friends Frank Leong and Babe Valero about upcoming classes:
aloha group, friends and relatives,

if you want to brush up on your ukulele playing or have someone you know that may be interested in learning to play the ukulele, i will be starting ukulele lessons at mira costa college (ph 760-795-6820) next tuesday for beginners and thursdays for the intermediate players.

for those who live in san diego, i will be having lessons on saturdays in pacific beach at motu's hawaii, (ph 858-272-6688) 9:30 am for beginners and 11 am for intermediate ukulele players.

Come join us at Ocean House restaurant (Carlsbad Village Drive) on Thursday nights. Ric and the Kokua team will teach you and you'll meet some really fine ukulele players/people.

I had my first ukulele lesson this morning with Frank and boy did I have a blast! I did not think I would be able to play anything at all but I was wrong LOL. What a wonderful man and teacher. If you are in San Diego and have an iterest in the ukulele I highly recommend this 6 week course.I'm still amazed that I made sound come out of my little ukulele!
