Gorge Uke Fest 2010

Based in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, the Gorge Uke Fest is held annually to benefit local area school music programs. Proceeds are used to purchase ukuleles & classroom instruction materials. Funds are also designated for local music teachers to attend the Langley Ukulele Workshop.

This is the second annual Ukulele Festival Hood River, Oregon, home of windsurfing and fine microbrews.

What sets this festival apart from the pack is the purpose: it raises funds for school music programs.

Performers, teachers include The Langely Ukulele Ensemble, James Hill, Victoria Vox, James Hill, Lil' Rev, and a host of others.
