After 18 months in dry dock, and the contribution of 15,500 volunteer hours, the wa'a kaulua, Hokule'a has been completely rebuilt and will be re-launched this morning live on Sunrise. The date is also the 37th anniversary of Hokule'a's original launching. Ceremonies will commence at 5:30 a.m., with Hokule'a's actual launching at daybreak, approximately 6:30 a.m.
