Posted - 04/03/2012 : 06:18:00 AM First of all, probably nobody here knows I have a hobby building and flying radio controlled model airplanes, but that is how I spend my evenigs when not playing guitar.
I have a model that I started 28 years ago and left unfinished. Since I got back into the hobby three years ago I decided to finally finish it. How I kept the pieces together all this time I can only guess.
All the guys at the field know I play Hawaiian music now so I want to give it a Hawai'ian name that translates to the models name, "Sweet Stik". Any suggestions?
btw: I scratch built it meaning I cut every single piece, ie, it was not a kit but built from a blueprint and balsa sheets. I will post the picture when I get it finished in about two more weeks. Thanks in advance. |
