Amidst trip to Hawaii Nei, was on Kauaʻi, now Maui, to ʻOahu Sunday.
Many highlights so far...
Sat in with Tropical Grove (Hunani Kaui and Bev Kauanui) at Tahiti Nui. Haunani worked me hard!
Kauaʻi Old Time Gathering at Kokeʻe — jammimg with Ikaika Marza, Walt Keale, Don Kauniʻa, Ed Punua, and Nakana Wong.
Stopped by Kauaʻi Slack Key Festiival to see Paul Togioka (on way to airport).
Saw George Kahumokuʻs Slack Key Show at Napili Kai. New CD is awesome.
Saw Anthony Phluke perform in Lahaina.

Packing 2 fiddles and a lap steel on this trip.

Part 2 of trip to Hawai'i Nei...
Saw Max Angel perform admist the Ka'anapali resort towers. Afterwards, nearby went to Java Jazz, nice local joint with all kine music.
To 'Oahu, sat in with Walt Keale at his "Y" class.
Saw Jeff Peterson perform at Pier 38, and have a little project going with him.
Met Led and Sharon for dinner in Kanē'ohe.
Had in-person lap steel lesson with Alan Akaka.
Actually went snorkeling in Hanauama Bay.
Now back in the cold big dark....
