Paul Reed Smith and slack key didn't go together in my head. Nice playing.
Just remember Uncle Leonard Kwan's Gibson L4, Uncle Sonny Chillingworth's Gretsch, and Ledward's Gibson 335.
Although I must admit, when I tried slack key on my Telecaster it didn't take.

Posted - 05/10/2011 : 12:43:09 PM thanks for posting these Wanda I think I'm in love with the Hawaiin lap steel, i've been in love with the pedal steel for decades and the Hawaiin adds another dimension, had a look at Konabob's lap steel pdf, think I'll look for a cheap guitar and see if I can find a nut extension and have something to mess around with . . . luv soaking all this up thanks again

Posted - 05/09/2011 : 09:26:12 AM I meant to say that the videos of Curt Silva are not "Portagee" our TP braddah from whom we have not heard for a long time. But so very exciting to know is that the Curt Silva in these two videos is in COLUMBUS, OHIO!!!!!!! Columbus is a mere two hours south of us. Mahalo Dukie for bringing us together with Curt!
