Posted - 05/23/2011 : 01:42:54 AM Oh my oh my - there are so many good videos this week. Derek delights us this week by sharing some rare Peter Moon videos. If you look carefully, you'll also find a fine video pictoral tribute to Uncle Moe Keale with him singing "A Part of You, A Part of Me". There's Braddah Al Tringali, Sean Na`auao, and so much more. Have fun. Tons of music to keep you busy all week long. The very last one on the list is a rare find of Kalapana. -------------------------

Abrigo Ohana & Ke Kani Nahe present the April Waimea Valley Kanikapila You may spock a few familiar faces in there – maybe some retired engineer guy playing steel guitar and some guy who started TaroPatch, I think that might be Andy in there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTCW5b68OxM&feature=feedu
Al Tringali (No`eau here on Taro Patch) jamming with some unknown guitar player by the name of Led Kaapana on “Nani Kaua`i” which I had in stuck in my head all day yesterday after I watched this. Great job, Braddah Al!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuHZGY61ORg&feature=feedu
Aaron Mahi, George Kuo & please help me out, I do not know who the other gentleman is who is sitting in for Martin. But they are playing one of my favorite songs and one which I learned to dance hula this year at our workshop from aunty Mapuana de Silva. It celebrates the company of folks who ran the Coast guard Loran station on Ni`ihau during WWII. It is a great song and a fun hula. “Aloha Ka Po`e Koa” written probably by one of the Kanahele `ohana from Ni`ihau http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVgBni2EV5U

Yikes, busted. I had a blast at the Waimea Valley jam. Celebrated Emily's birthday. Even unexpectedly ran into a friend at the end. Small world, I tell ya. No secrets anymore. Never know when you'll show up on youtube or tv.
