Posted - 07/26/2011 : 1:49:31 PM After playing mostly steel and keyboards for the past 15 years, my calluses are almost nonexistant. It hurts when I play guitar or banjo more than 15 minutes. I'm starting to work on them, tho.

Posted - 07/25/2011 : 3:09:30 PM I just did a 4 hour gig on Friday, a 4 hour gig on Saturday and a 3 hour gig on Sunday and it isn't even Oktoberfest yet! Callouses saved me! Cool thing about callouses, they can double as mini hot pads while cooking. Can we ever play enough music? I don't think so. When we rest, we can listen to others. CDs etc for driving. Play til yer gums bleed! |

Posted - 07/24/2011 : 09:20:33 AM Wow! I think you need different brand of strings! Is this what you guys use? http://www.freefoto.com/preview/13-04-14/Barbed-Wire Maybe jus press a little lighter, or get the action adjusted. Unko Paul |
