Posted - 07/29/2011 : 05:11:13 AM Help me find some music to use that would be peppy enough to use for cardiac rehab. Today I took a CD of hula music to our rehab class but it was much too slow, very nahenahe. I need some suggestions for mele that would get our pu`uwai workin' out! I'll take your suggestions and whatever we have on CD, I burn onto another CD and call it Cardiac Rehab Mele or something like that. Title for the CD would be good, too.
Please help me out quickly because I want to have this ready on Monday for our last session before our "Hele Fo' Da Mele".

Posted - 08/02/2011 : 09:39:50 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oooh, yeah - and Malihini -- the Iz doing Margarita, that is a good one!!!! But definitely not traditional style Hawaiian, but I love it anyhow, especially the part about "we go in the dark and we don't need a spear".
Not traditional for sure, but I thought we might make an exception for Iz! It sure makes me get up and dance in my living room AND put's a smile on my face!
By the way.. Hi everyone! I'm Sussi, I live in San Diego and am fortunate to go to Oahu a few times a year. Sure wish I could be there for Gabby's Waimanalo Music Festival. Anybody know of something happening in October on Oahu? Music wise , that is. Aloha to all. |

Posted - 07/31/2011 : 06:12:52 AM Yeah, I understand that, but I don't think anybody else will know what those words mean. This is only my thought, but I think they'll just be looking for good, upbeat music. |

Posted - 07/31/2011 : 06:02:16 AM Hey `Alika - long time no see!
I thought of Kawika by Sunday Manoa, but then I thought that it would be disrespectful to take a mele inoa and use it for working out to instead of using it for the purpose to which it was intented - to celebrate Kalakaua. |
