There is a great book called "Performing Acoustic Music" which has proven an invaluable resource to me.
Spending $14.95 here could save you hundreds.

The Barnes & Noble Link is:

Performing Acoustic Music: The Complete Guide

If the link fails, to an ISBN search on 1-890490-22-9.

Cheers,

Thanks Ted. I bought this book on your recommendation and have been enjoying it. Lots of little performance tips. The stage fright chapter could have been longer, but I guess there are entire books dedicated to that subject.
