Anyone notice Derrick Mau's three steel tunes on youube ??
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HVTkYxdIsGU

This is one of them. I refurbished Derrick's guitars a few years back, including the D6 Stringmaster, and his 7 string bakelite. They both sound great on these youube tunes.

He told me yesterday (Saturday) that they may have another gig on Saturdays too, but I forget where he told me it was.

Derreck is a fine steel player, connected to the Rogers ohana. You can see him playing with Eddie Akana and all at Honey's in Kaneohe on Friday's.

I noticed them..... and you're right, those instruments sure do sound great...under the direction of some pretty talented hands.
