Our esteemed lap steel instructor, Konabob, will be joined by Gerald Ross at this year's Hawai'i Island 'Ukulele Retreat, October 15 - 21, 2017, at the Kohala Village Inn in Hawi. So now, participants will have a choice of learning lap steel in the G6 or C6 tuning.....or both.
In addition to classes in lap steel, we will also be offering 'ukulele (all levels), bass, hula, Hawaiian rhythm, and story telling.
Other instructors include: Kaliko Beamer Trapp, Brad Bordessa, Lady Ipo, Lehua AhSam, and Kevin Carroll.
The rooms at the Inn are sold out, but you can still join us as a "walk-in" if you have somewhere else to stay. (Air B&B and VRBO still have some good options available.)
