I know that some of you have heard me go on and on about Ken Emerson's G6th tuning.

From Low to Hi: G-D-E-G-B-D

I don't think many of you have heard me play in this tuning. So here you go:

Konabob,
It has been a while since I stopped by Taro Patch,
but took a little time to enjoy your trio and
the steel guitar playing. A very nice job.

It don't matter, braddah, whether it's G6, C6, E6, D6, A6 or D6 (often called "13" if there's a flat seven note in the tuning). They all have the same advantage in playing Hawaiian (or western swing, for that matter). Play on!

Very nicely done Bob.
Love the sound of that guitar and tuning.
