Anyone needing microphones for their ukuleles/vocals, get 4 for $39 bucks including shipping (+ your local sales tax) I just ordered 4 more of these (2 for $24.99 bucks) and used the code SAVUP200 (expires today) to save another $10 bucks off $49 bucks plus. I own several of these already. They are well built metal construction and work great for both vocals and instruments. The funny thing is you can buy 1 for $49 bucks. Ric

There's another way to get a deal on these microphones, vscotth. Guitar Center has a discount code/coupon for $15 bucks off a $75 buck or more total purchase:

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Promos/ClaimDiscountCoupon.aspx?pid=7118

The DRV100 vocal microphones and DRI instrumental microphones are also packaged as Gear One so you can get 3 of each for $50 bucks X 2 = $100 bucks - $15 buck discount = $85 bucks. $85 bucks divided by 6 microphones means that the microphones only cost you $14 bucks each:

Of course you can still get one for $49 bucks

They're now listed on the Guitar Center site for $99 the pair...

Thanks for this lead, too, Ric!

I like these cables, Dr. Cookie. They are heavier guage and have sturdier connectors than the standard Musician's Friend and Guitar Center XLR cables:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10244#1024401

They also have 4 channel snakes:

I also get 15' power cables for my amps there. The 6' cables that come with most amps don't reach anything:

Thanks for the tip on 10-buck mics, Ric . . . can't wait to try them out. And now I'd love to find a similarly great deal on decent cables (& stands) . . . any suggestions?

Don
