We'll see what they do with it. I'm personally really happy that I own pre-Peavey CA's. I hope they resurrect the plans to make an 'uke.

I noticed that they were in the Peavey section at NAMM this year. Seems like their supporting it, since there were a few CA axes in the area...some nice new ones too.

Hi Deborah,

I think you meant to say: http://macnichol.com/forum-post/3320

Here's the press release: http://www.peavey.com/news/article.cfm/action/view/id/526/cat/1/article.cfm
quote:
Peavey will debut three Composite Acoustic models at WNAMM: the GX, the OX and the Cargo. These models feature updates that topped the wish-lists of the Composite Acoustics players community. All models feature an updated and improved neck angle and improved bracing, and the flagship GX model is now offered with a redesigned, narrow-profile neck. These updates add to the already renowned playability of the product line.
Glad to see that CA instruments live to see another day.

Actually, above the Valley at 4800', but still up there in the high '90's. We had a very good time, braddahs an' sistahs!

That is potentially good news. Hope it works out cuz the Cargo is one swell little guitar.

Took the Cargo and it handled the heat and dust like a champ. Held its own sonically alongside some seriously vintage Martins, Gibsons & Epi's, too.

Now if only we can get Hartley Peavy to just smile....

Interested to see if the quality standards change, for better or worse. Based on limited knowledge, carbon guitar construction is totally different than wood guitar construction. Will be interesting to see if Peavy can make a good product.

Good news. I've been really happy with my CA Guitar - been playing it a lot lately. I hear Peavey may honor the warranty, but we'll see.
