Broke my Intellitouch after 6 years, so I was in the market for a new clip on. After some research and reviews, I bought a Snark.

Cool looking, compact, sturdy and $30. I like it.

Sometimes the lowest price is just a come on from scammers. I checked user reviews on some of the real cheap prices. The users all got ripped off. Cheapest apparently is not the bestest

If you order from Amazon, make sure you DON'T order the ones from Brook Mays Music; they are neither filling the orders nor responding to e-mails as to WHY they are not filling orders (while still accepting them through Amazon). "Bad seller - no doughnut!"

Repeating the warning - they contacted me after this posting on TP and said they would be shipping it soon. Still no tuner nearly three weeks later, no further contact, and because they tell Amazon they are "preparing for shipping," Amazon won't cancel.

Again - BROOK MAYS MUSIC - don't do business with them!

I got another one - this time for $8.50. $30? What was I thinking; the cost of imperfect information. If they don't break in a month, it's a good deal; I like mine much better than my intellitouch

I was jammin' with No'eau, and he had his Snark turned on and on the guitar. What a light show - green & red!

Semiseriously, we need an internationally recognized holiday in recognition of the digital tuner. We could have tuner shaped cookies and tuna sandwiches. Look at the friendships that have been kept together, not to mention the bands. Nothing remotely suggests that Al Qaeda uses digital tuners. Look at where THEY are! Digital tuners promote peace and mutual understanding and the common good.
That and $3.50 will get you a mochachino.

I've never seen any tree like that before. Thanks very much for posting that.

I can see why those trees are called that , they certainly seem somethign out of Lewis Caroll, or Dr Seuss even

I also had a snark a long time ago. They were so much fun, maybe I should get one for my guitar too. :)

It is a COOL "electric blue" with a colored display. It magically turned his guitar into a lyrical intrument in the hands of a vituoso . . .

Seriously, it is fairly unobtrusive sitting on the headstock, is accurate, and cheap. If I didn't already have too many tuners to keep track of, I'd have one too.

When he first told me it was a "Snark", I thought he'd bought a sailboat. I used to sail these as a kid.
