While it's not Hawaiian-centric in orientation, Jim D'Ville's new instructional DVD, "Play Ukulele by Ear," is a definite must-have item for ukulele players who don't easily "hear" chord changes.

D'Ville offers specific tips for learning to hear chords, tones and intervals and he does it with attention to those of us who aren't "natural" musicians. This will make the next kanikapila more enjoyable for me (and for those sitting beside me!).
