Posted - 12/09/2011 : 7:14:26 PM As those on this forum know, George Kahumoku recently got nominated for a Grammy. In order to celebrate this event as well as to celebrate the holidays (we are really into celebrations on the Kahumoku Farm) George is currently selling his Grammy nominated CD Wao Akua along with Daniel Ho's Grammy nominated CD E Kahe Malie. The two CD's bundled together are only $24 and shipping is free.
You can check out the sale here http://www.kahumoku.com/. Get them fast though because this offer expires on December 31st. |

Posted - 12/17/2011 : 4:05:19 PM I have almost all of George’s CDs, including the various slack key compilations, and this one is my favorite. It’s all beautiful instrumentals.
Daniel’s new CD proves once again not only that he’s a prolific musician, but, in this case, a worthy successor to Hawaiian solo pianists Richard Kauhi, Rene Paulo (especially Waimanalo Moon), and Pierre Grill (Pua Lilia, Ke Aloha).
If you don’t yet have these two wonderful CDs George is offering, you should give them to yourself (as well as others on your list) for Christmas. |

He didn't win (yet), but he's one of the five nominees. Fingers crossed, yeah? |
