Posted - 03/17/2012 : 4:53:33 PM The good news is, I've been gifted with a plethora of old Hawaiian vinyls, 45s, and cassettes recently (the better to grow my radio show's playlist!!).
The not so good news is, liner notes on cassettes were too small to include more than the basics (song title and the occasional composer credit). Argh!
Anyone know who-sang-what on the multi-artist vinyl album "Quiet Lagoon"? Artist list is magnificent (Pua Almeida, Honey Kalima, Haunani Kahalewai, Kalima Brothers, Andy Cummings, Mona & Val Ha`o, Ralph Reis, and Lani, Lahela and Nina Rodrigues). But who-played-what, is a mystery! |
