Aloha everyone! I'm a new kid on the block. I am a Canadian but think I have a inner hawaiian as I love everything Hawaiian. Have been to the islands four times in the past and am planning another trip in 2015 to attend the Aloha Music Camp. I am wanting to study Slack Key & Ukulele. |

Remember that without ALOHA, it isn't Hawaiian. Begin with ALOHA and all will be ok. Kinda scriptural in essence; "seek ye first the kingdom of God......." |

Aukana - welcome! You might want to also consider coming to the Maui Steel Guitar Festival in April. It's at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, and, except for the hotel, it's free. Check out their Facebook page. |

Yes - Welcome to Andy's Slack Key, Ukulele, Hawaiiana, etcetera forum.
Not as much activity here as there used to be before "FacePlant" and other ever more controlled, private info stealing social networks, but still some interesting discussions and announcements do appear.
Remember to search on any topic of interest by keywords as there is a veritable TROVE of good info here on Hawaiian Music and Music subjects in general.
