Pat La`a owns the cottage where we often stay when we visit Kailua, Admin Andy visited once for a beach day as I recall. Pat grew up in Lanikai, where his mom still lives. He took us to the home of his childhood friends, the Floyds, who have a lovely home high up the ridge that encloses the valley of Ka`ohao, the original name of the area. We set up cameras and recorder on the lanai and shot a little video of Ledward and I playing "Nanea Ko Maka I Ka Le`ake`a."

As usual there are a few technical glitches, poor choice of exposure, and I flubbed a bit on the outro, but Ledward played this piece so sublimely that I had to post the result.
