Posted - 04/15/2014 : 1:26:06 PM Seems this just popped onto my radar, two times in a week. A songwriter in Sante Fe told us his Recording King acoustic guitars were really a good buy. and he's had OOO Martin guitars worth $25,000 then another Pro had one at a gig. What's up? Any good one's for Finger-style?--aka slack key?

Posted - 04/16/2014 : 10:44:04 PM I haven't googled Recording King yet, and it can wait till daylight... but where is the best site, linkup to consider one? the 1.75 neck might be of interest, if not too much!

Posted - 04/16/2014 : 12:08:23 PM I LOVE Recording Kings. I think they are an amazing value for the money. I actually have two: an RO-26 (000 size) and a "Dirty Thirties" RPH-05 (parlor size).
The RO-26 is my favorite for slack key, because of the 1.75" nut. The parlor is my throw-around guitar which is good for taking to friend's houses and whatnot.
Unfortunately I don't have a video of the RO-26, but here's a review/demo I did of the RPH-05: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqr-42s2W-4
