Hey Taropatchers,
Have you been naughty or nice this year? Do you have any favorite gift ideas for this holiday season? New gear, must have albums... I need some inspiration.

Santa Oz just got here. Oz immediately sent the "Island View" cd once the little mixup was reported. Thanks Oz, it's going into high rotation. You da' best. And again, a thanks to Andy too. |

I was in the Apple store in the other day.
I spotted a strange and interesting looking gadget.
I asked the very hipster young saleslady what it did.
She replied,
"It does nothing at all, it's a Christmas Present!"

My bad. Last time I saw youse, 'twas in Santa Cruz, or Felton, or somewhere. Involved a parking lot and alcohol. Maybe I should put down the pipe.

Thanks Andy, for sending a heads-up. I heard from Ozzie. Problem being solved. Those of us in "Cottage Industries" understand...it's quite a bit of work for the revenue...but thank God AND teachers that share their knowledge and art. |

For Christmas, I got myself an iPad. In an effort to eliminate my disorganized binders of music lyrics, I got the unrealBook app. I look forward to trying it out soon. |

While some of us are still looking for gifts that haven't arrived...
I ordered Island View cd from Ozzie Kotani's website on Dec. 7, 2014, with priority shipping.
I guess I was bad last year, because it hasn't arrived yet.
I have sent requests to website, and will go back to credit card statement to see if it actually was billed and posted.
Is anyone aware of delays on "Island View", perhaps out of stock or back-ordered? |

Ukuleles....slacked down. Many of us know and love our songs on guitar, but I have been experimenting with working out songs on the Ukes, albeit, in dropped tunings.
Makes relearning some songs really fun. Almost finished with Kaopuiki Aloha on uke. Note for note.
Give the gift of music. Albums, instruments *insturments (for you Craig P) tuners, anything to help rekindle the passion.
I'm gonna go look up the Snark Tuner, new to me.

P.S. - I should have said "sold by" rather than "made by" d'Addario.
Since, as we all know, all this stuff is made in one or more of those CHINESE MEGA-MANUFACTURING plants ( like FOXCONN https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foxconn ) that make nearly everything these days.
P.P.S. - I have a Snark tuner as well (there are several versions) but the little "ball stem clip" broke very easily and is being held together with a tie-wrap.
