By some quirk of fate, my CD "Naʻau Hoʻomaikaʻi" is on the final ballot for a Na Hoku Hanohano award for Best Hawiian Slack Key Album Of The Year. I share the list with Cyril Pahinui, George Kahumoku, Jr., Kimo West and Ken Emerson, Patrick Landeza and Leo Lindsay. Irregardless of what happens, I feel so honored to be in such company.
