I've been messing around with it to play Hi'ilawe in G.Curious what it's called, and other tunes that may use it. |

Posted - 03/12/2018 : 06:35:39 AM If that 4th string were a D instead of B I would say this is the usual G Wahine (G Maj7). It's a wonderful tuning used by Sonny Chillingworth "Weeha Swing" and Ray Kane's "Punahele."
Even with the B on that string it's still spelling G Maj7, as the chunky one says.
With the tuning as spelled, what do you use for the secondary bass note when you alternate?
