Not a town, not a district, it's a store. Only now it's a store and three restaurants. But the original is the store on the way to Kailua Beach. And across the street is a little triangle park that used to have some benches but now just serves as the center of a traffic loop where Kailua Road ends at South Kalaheo Ave.
And that triangle park is where I went to shoot a video back in 2012, a tune I called "Kalapawai Swing." I've been meaning to relearn the song and shoot a new version and this year our buddy Jim came along with his little DJI drone so ...
