Posted - 11/10/2022 : 09:05:11 AM This great old song was written in 1876 and since then it's been across genre and around the world. It's a bluegrass standard, a banjo showpiece, a piano student's etude, a British military march ... and thanks to Leonard Kwan it's a slack key instrumental!
Nowadays it's the song that tells Ledward my set is done and it's time for him to take the stage (grin).

I found bluegrass, old timey, and country vocal versions but sadly I was unable to find the song done as a British military march. I think my favorite is this one by Ken Aoki:
