His Dancing Cat Records releases are what introduced me to Ki Ho'Alu.
I still have CDs of his own works. I need to go listen to them again.

Posted - 06/10/2023 : 09:59:46 AM We've lost a wonderful, talented, unselfish person. One thing that I will always remember about George was a comment he made to me about one of the songs on my CD, 'Kauai On My Mind'. He said, 'Bill, I don't have room to promote your CD on DC, but your arrangement of the classic 'September Song' is the best I have ever heard'. How can one ever forget such a compliment as that? Every music lover will miss him, whether they realize it or not. R.I.P. George. |

Posted - 06/07/2023 : 05:41:55 AM My introduction to ki ho'alu was different, but the Dancing Cat titles are a staple of my library. I have also given away several copies and often recommended the Slack Key Masters CD's. They will get another listen soon. |
