A concert that seems to be flying under the radar is Keola Beamer at Chimacum this Friday (8/24). Chimacum is 'across the water', just south of Port Townsend.
Here's the announcement in the Kitsap Sun newspaper:
Keola Hawaiian slack key guitar legend Keola Beamer and his wife, Moanalani, will perform traditional Hawaiian music and dance at 8 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Chimacum Schools auditorium, 91 W. Valley Road in Chimacum. Tickets are $25. Information: 800-992-8499, ticketswest.com
