UPDATE: I shouldn't have worried, Shawn got 5-6 invites/passes to go to NAMM from all kinds of people. Now he's just lazy about wanting to go! arrrgh :D thanks to everyone who read this, and invited. :) Sorry to trouble y'all. |

You are correct Dragonfly, D- all the above. I was just lucky and know somebody, who knew somebody, who knew sombody....that sort of thing.
Your husband is one of the autographs on my guitar b.t.w., what an honor to have his signature on it, and to hear him play...he is soooo awesome.

Actually Chunk, (terry) I did get another guitar, (used) about 3 weeks ago. hahaha. wish I had a hundred guitars though, wouldn't that be awesome?

I had to give up my morals, and sleep with the boss at NAMM. Hello, its in my handle: Slack Whore.
It wasn't pretty, but I at least got candy & flowers....yuk-yuk!

How do us normal people get to go? just curious .... by invite only, yes? or if you are in the industry as a company or endorsed, I'm guessing. |

I'm going, I'll be there on the first day...didn't know Steven will be there,( sorry Stephen, didn't know they waived the hieght requirement for entry this year...lol... jus kidding) maybe I'll see you there?
I usually hit the Fender & Gretsch booths first, then walk around drooling over the lastest guitars...i'll be dragging the autograph guitar around as well in case I meet someone famous. |

Aloha Julie...Always in late January...It's a giant music industry trade show held at Anaheim Convention Center that features new products from the coming year. Several of my equipment manufacturers are there every year, so I typically perform at their booths. ;) |
