Mahalo for all of the suggestions. The weather was not very cooperative so my days were cut short. Hope to get back to the Kaliponi again soon and have a chance to take in some nahenahe music.

I've had the pleasure of watching tim play, he is real good! Also, he is trying to let one of his grimes go (i think) because he has another one on the way!>

Tim Fuller, a contemporary style slack key guitarist from Santa Cruz, will be performing at the San Ramon Public Library, Sat., June 22, 2:00-3:00P. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is not necessary. The San Ramon Library is located at 100 Montgomery St., San Ramon, at the corner of Bollinger Canyon Road and Market Place. Here’s a sample of his playing (“How D’ya Do?”) from his website: http://www.timfuller.org/youtube-clip/ .

Also, the monthly Alameda Kanikapila (4th Saturday of each month) is this Saturday, June 22. All ages and levels are welcomed, as well as hula dancers and spectators. Admission is free, and they sell an ono dinner plate (usually $7.00), beverages, and baked goods which help to support the halau. This is a very well attended kanikapila and is always good fun and entertaining:

Island Hawaiian Studios
1122 Lincoln Avenue
Alameda, CA 94501
6:00P-9:30P

Aloha,
Doug
