Northern California Hawaiian music fans rejoice! An all-star lineup
of the best in Hawaiian music including Legendary Slack Key Master
Cyril Pahinui w/Peter Moon, Jr & Jeff AuHoy
, multi-Nā Hōkū
Hanohano award winners Nathan Aweau and Mailani Makanai, Hawaiian
music's hottest new group Hu`ewa, The Bay Area's Kawika Alfiche and
Hula Halau Keikiali`i as well as Kaui Dalire and Hula Halau Keolaloa
Kuikanani. The evenings event will be hosted by Berkeley's own
Patrick Landeza.

Friday evening, we will award the "Ke Kanaka Po`okela Award" to Henry
"Hanalei" Bray and Roy Ching for their years of commitment to the
Hawaiian Community, and on Saturday evening, Cyril Pahinui will be
the first recipient of the Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award.
