Who else could pull together a big old kanikapila with a dozen fine musicians, more grinds than can handle, and including guests from way Down Under!

Trying to keep the music going for a couple of hours lets me know just how much I need to practice more - my hands definitely gave out and sent me home. But it was definitely worth a little pain to be part of keeping the kanikapila tradition alive. Mahalo many times, Mr. Duke Domingo! And thanks Geoff for inspiring the event. And shakas and props to all the players and singers!

Fran

I'll add my thanks to Fran's; it was a great afternoon, apart from being ridiculously warm. Great music too, and a lot of good fellowship, which is always welcome.

Mahalo again, Duke and everyone else, for making an outsider like me feel welcome.
