Posted - 03/17/2012 : 1:50:41 PM Today’s bands and session artists still need musicians who can "hear" well, whether or not they have a broad knowledge of contemporary music: jazz, blues, country, rock, reggae, Brazilian, Hawaiian & other genres. Veteran recording artist/vocalist/musician Shawn Ishimoto will discuss the importance and practical applications of playing by ear and feel, to help a group or CD track sound the best that it can.
Aspiring and working musicians are invited to attend this * FREE * workshop and bring an acoustic instrument, and non-musicians are also invited. Come and support the Silver Lake Library with your attendance, network and enjoy some great live music.
Tuesday, April 17, 2012 6:00pm - 7:30pm Silver Lake Library, 2411 N Glendale Blvd @ Silver Lake Blvd., Los Angeles, 90026 323-913-7451
