Workshops: Parlour B and C
Performance: Willamen Room
The cost is $20 for one workshop or $30 for two.
All workshops will be working on the following songs:
Hawaiian War Chant, Never on a Sunday, and Nani Waimea
Ukulele workshops will be focusing on chords, strumming,
singing, and picking the songs.
Slack Key guitar workshop will start with strumming
chords for all songs. Then maybe some picking for songs,
depending on experience level. Other slack key songs
may be introduced.
Bass workshop will focus on basic bass for songs and maybe
some more advanced techniques.
12 noon - 1 pm Registration
1 pm - 3 pm Ukulele workshop #1 (Ben Kaili)
1 pm - 3 pm Bass guitar workshop (Stan Meidinger)
3 pm - 5 pm Ukulele workshop #2 (Ben Kaili)
3 pm - 5 pm Slack Key Guitar workshop (Carey Camacho)
7 pm - 9pm Workshop band performance and kanikapila
All workshops will lead to the merging of instruments into
a single band.
