Aloha all -

I'll be heading back up to Dusty Strings for two days of workshops on November 1st & 2nd.

Saturday: morning & afternoon sessions in slack key. As before, I'll emphasize playing in rhythm, learning to hear, a little improvisation and as much fun as we can muster.

The afternoon class builds on the morning class. Be the first on your block to learn "Blue Monk Seal!"

Sign up for both & we'll all eat lunch at the plate lunch joint down the block...

Sunday (after the obligatory Spam 'n Jam at Kona Kitchen) is uke day.

First off: Fun With Your `Ukulele. Yep, it's the `Ukulele Happy Hour without the booze. Little or no experience necessary, though I promise to have something for better players, too.

Then in the afternoon we will explore the repertoire of the Hana Hou Daddies-- classic surf instrumentals. You should have a pretty good handle on chords for this one.
