Olympia, WA
Sunday, March 14th
10 am - 11:15 am

Come join Patrick Landeza at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts in Olympia as he shares a variety of techniques on how to develop the slack-key sound. Patrick will focus on Taropatch (open G) tuning, and cover the scales, vamps, and licks that lead to his unique slack-key guitar style of playing Hawaiian music.

Contact: www.oluevents.com or contact Kim @ 360 866 0279

For all you Oly slackers who wish you didn't have to drive to Seattle for a workshop (hi, John A.!), this is your big chance for a workshop in your own backyard.

And again, for those of you going to Mark and Tom's workshops in Bellevue...well, that's Saturday and these are on Sunday, so you can have a whole weekend of Hawaiian music!
