Hi, all. I though it would be fun to put together an index of where we Taro Patch members located. Just for kicks, but maybe we can facilitate some kanikapilas! If you would like to participate, click on this link and follow the below directions.

https://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=2829434

1. Place your pin in your city – not on your home address. You can enter by zip code or city by hovering your mouse over 'Additions' in the tool bar and choosing 'Add Marker - Simple'. Here:

2. Use your Taro Patch username – not your actual name or private info.

Let's go!

Well, I moved to Kapowsin, in rural Pierce County, well outside of Tacoma. Still drive in to Seattle/Bellevue for Neeejʻs kanikapila.

I’m back home in Kailua (Oahu not Big Island). Good to see Duke and other old friends on here!!

I added mine as well. Too bad there's no one else from the Patch in my neck of the woods...

I started learning ki ho'alu using Ozzie's book last spring, but life got in the way after only a couple of months and I stopped practicing. But I've recently started it up again, this time taking actual guitar lessons at my local Guitar Center (with a Classical guitar instructor willing to learn/teach it to me). I can only afford half-hour lessons each week, but I'm having a blast with it, and can't wait to learn new songs.

Who's "Anonymous" in Honolulu? You need to contact me to get on my kanikapila invite list. The circle of regulars are fun & talented. We occasionally get some of ringers like Ledward & his sisters Lei & Rhoda, Ozzie Kotani, Peter Medeiros, David Kaio, Kevin Brown, Mike Keale, Ben Kaili, Young Peter Moon etc. Don't miss out, hit me up

Marker added. We hope to get to Neej's kanikapilas and house concerts a little more since Alice retires this Friday. It's still quite a trip over there (9 hours by road)..... but we will make it happen.
