Still recovering from this one. I put a lot of work into organizing and promoting this fundraiser show. On the day of, my plan was to be the sound guy and photographer. Sadly, I forgot my camera battery at home in the charger so no photos.

I asked Kawika if I could join him on one song to thank my wife for all the cooking and prepping for this concert... then this happened. Masters of Hawaiian Music came to our New Jersey church and blew my mind!

Heh, heh - a reason to have at least two batteries.

Speaking of batteries.... I joined Kawika on stage without any rehearsal. Turned out that his guitar was tuned flatter than mine. When he began re-tuning, he said, "Sorry my tuner battery went dead." I grab the tuner off of my headstock to give Kawika and my battery was dead too! I start plucking strings for Kawika to tune by ear.

Then, Claudia who is sitting in the audience yells, "I have a tuner!" Kudos to Claudia the super hero slack key player who carries a tuner and capo in your purse!

The world is a better place for tuners! The troubled parts of the planet are not known for the use of digital tuners...........

Andy, have your feet returned to the ground yet? What an outstanding job. Thanks for absolutely making my afternoon--I needed that.

Yes, back to work. But I can always watch the video when I need it.

Yes, it's been back to work for a while now. :-) And my feet are firmly planted.
