At my local uke group meeting on Saturday afternoon, I was approached by a woman I know who likes my slack key playing. She came on behalf of the group's committee, and asked if I would be willing to teach a 45 minute slack key 'ukulele workshop at the group's uke festival next April.

I said, "yes". So now I have to practice my slack key uke between now and then

Very cool! You can grab any ukulele instructional materials that you need from my web site: www.boiseukulelegroup.com

I've taught a couple of 60 minute slack-key workshops myself and have a few things prepared, but would need to email them. My email is part of my profile.

Led told me that he always watches his workshop students carefully, to see if he can learn new things from them. Everyone is and learns differently. Lessons provide positive shortcuts and can help form musical friendships.
