As a Navy vet, this date never passes without remembering those lost on that Sunday morning in 1941.

I too thought about it. It's my dad's generation. While he served in North Africa, it's a time to take stock, commemorate, and be thankful for all those who serve or served, anytime in our history.
Recently watched "Midway"...which starts with Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. And it is always moving and terrifying.
